Drinking the 29'er Kool-Aid

right before I cleared my checking account!!!!!
Not just drinking it but slamming it down!! That's right I bought myself a Kona Honzo from Salvagetti Bike Shop as a early birthday present to me. I have been saving for a new bike for about 2 years and I am have been looking for a bike that will suit the style of riding that I do, it had to be steel be able to accommodate a 120mm fork and have short chain-stays and 29" wheels. Well the Honzo had all these things and I can't wait to get out on the trail and tell you how much fun it is to ride but I think that will be a given since I will be riding and not sitting around on a spin bike or my ass.  Here are some mandatory pictures

of course the first thing was new handle bars the one that comes stock is to narrow and I have a new saddle on order, an SDG bell-aire because it is the most comfortable saddle I have ever ridden and considering the amount of time I spend sitting on it, it better be comfortable. I had everybody at the bike shop drooling and a little jealous which is usually the other way around.

A big thanks to the guys and gal at Salvagetti bike shop for hooking up the new bar and grips and rear tire, it looks really good and I was happy that I got the last 18" frame, the 20" frame was a tad to long and since I have "small features". Thanks guys for doing a great job.
