Me and Joe on one of our week day adventures on some dry trails and it was a nice warm day with temps in the upper 50's and sunny. Before we left we stopped by an RV park to say bye to a friend that will be traveling and riding for the indefinite future, he has a cool ass RV and gets to work from where ever he is park I can say I am little jealous of that kind of vagabond lifestyle (have fun Paul) he was on his way to New Mexico and we needed to get going on the trail if we want to make this worth the trip down from Denver. So it started at Red Rocks parking lot.
I love the Red Rock area since I lived right there in my little shanty I got real familiar with all the trails and just love going back to rip some of the single track probably one of the coolest places to ride in Colorado Springs, but I think I say that about everywhere and every time I ride.

Shit eating grin the whole ride? check. Stupid looking hair do? check. Super fun ride? check. Once we finished up ride one Joe suggested we go check out Mt. Herman trails and me being me, I said hell yes. Pulled to the trail head and we were ready to roll in about 2 minutes.

The trails in Monument were wet and sloppy to say the least and we probably only rode 4miles at the most but it was still smile inducing fun all the way around I can't think of a better way to spend an afternoon, and we finished it up with a celebration beverage!
I am not sure what to think of the new bike yet, it is a blast to ride but I just love to ride wether it was this bike or the session. I definitely think I am faster on this bike and it will be nice to ride it when I race the 12 hours of Mesa Verde. Still can't wait to pull out the session and go hit some of the more burly trails.
